Opportunity at National Defense University
Feb 21st, 2012 by sfs
The National Defense University (NDU) is honored to have been asked by the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO) to host a Town Hall with local college students the afternoon of 28 February 2012. Secretary General Rasmussen is eager to get to know this new generation of U.S. leaders and to talk NATO, its missions (including Afghanistan and Libya) and its future, especially in light of the upcoming NATO Summit to be held in Chicago in May.
We at NDU want to welcome students from the Georgetown University to this important event to participate in this unprecedented Town Hall meeting. It promises to be a fascinating afternoon where students from the greater Washington region will have the opportunity to mingle with each other and to pose questions to the NATO Secretary General. I believe it will be a unique opportunity for students, particularly those interested in international affairs, to get to know more about NATO and for the Secretary General to learn more about what is on the minds of our students.
Interested students should contact Mr. Gerald Faber, FaberG@ndu.edu.
